Andrew H. Chung:    Towards a Biomimetic Synthesis of the Endiandric Acids.  Andrew is attending Stanford.       

Mark Cyffka:  Analyte Detection Via Surface-Anchored Liquid Crystals.  Mark was awarded the Harald V. Johnson P70 Memorial Prize, and is now in AFM sales with Park Systems.

Chiara H.C. Giammanco:  Improving Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells:  Increasing Voc and Jsc for ZnO Based Cells.  Chiara was awarded the Campbell and Sly Prize Awards and is currently attending Stanford.

Mark Hendricks:  A Modular Synthesis of a Homologous Series Of Zinc Porphyrin Dyes for Use with Zinc Oxide Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells.  Mark is attending Columbia.

Christine Kim:  Aggregation Behavior of N-Octyl--D-Glucoside in 1-Butyl-3-Methylimidazolium Tetra-fluoroborate.  Christine will attend a school of pharmacy in the fall of 2011.

Russell Klare:  Metal-Metal Electronic Coupling in Carbonyl-Capped Osmium Porphyrin Dimers.  Russell is in the work field.

Eric D. Nacsa:  Progress Towards a Revised Biomimetic Synthesis of Enantiopure (+)- Davanone.  Eric earned a NSERC Fellowship, the ACS inorganic Chemical Award, the Campbell and Sly Prize Awards, and is currently attending Columbia.

Tarun Narayan:  New Ligands for Tantalum Hydroamination Catalysis.  Tarun was awarded the ACS Polymer Chemistry award, and has started the Ph.D. program at MIT.

Katherine E. Near:  Isolation of Induced Secondary Metabolites From Co-Cultures of Endophytic Fungi.  Katie was awarded the Mindlin Prize for Innovative Ideas in Science, AIC Outstanding Student Award, and the Davies Engineering Prize.  Katie will be attending grad school.

Caitlin Olmsted:  Elucidation of Small Molecule Interactions Between Endophytic Fungi.  Caitlin is in the work field.

Vikram Shivaji:  Determining the Functional Role of Paired CTCF-Binding Sites at the hTERT Gene.  Vikram will attend Medical School in the fall of 2011.

Ethan Sokol:  Investigation of Putative CTCF Binding Sites in the Transcriptional Regulation of Telomerase.  Ethan earned the W.A. Brandenburger Prize, the Outstanding Senior Thesis Prize, William K. Purves Prize, Campbell Award, and was a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar.  Ethan is attending the Ph.D. program at MIT in biology.

Camille Sultana:  Methodologies to Produce Natural Product Profiles of Sarcophyton and a Comparison of Two Samples using Chemical Signatures.  Camille earned the ACS Analytical Chemistry Award, and attending grad school in the fall of 2011.

Claire Walker:  Wastewater Treatment in Rural China.  Claire will be attending grad school.
