Josh Cobb:  Regioselectivity in Bimolecular Thermal Reactions Through Liquid Crystalline Control.  Josh will join the work force.

Jordan Eboreime: Characterization of Retrograde Intraflagellar Transport in Tetrahymena thermophila.  Jordan will join the work force.

Nancy Eisenmenger:  Dye Sensitized Solar Cells with Porphyrin Sensitizers on Zinc Oxide Nanotubes.  Nancy won  a NSF Graduate Fellowship.  She will attend UC Santa Barbara in the Materials Science and Engineering Department.

Judy Hines:  Characterization of Phase for n-octyl-B-D-galactopyranoside in Water using Florescence Spectroscopic Techniques.  Judy will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lauren Hughs:  Tantalum Cyclopentadienyl Complexes as Pre-Catalysts for the Intramolecular Asymmetric Hydroamination of Aminoallenes.  Lauren reports that she was hired by Applied Physics Labs at the University of Washington.  Her first project invoves the vapochromic detection of oxygen, both gaseous and dissolved, using robust platinum complexes.

Ginna Kim:  The Construction of a Ddx4-Cre-dsRed Transgenic Mouse.  Ginna will be joining the work force.

Alison Lee:  Spectroscopic Characterization of Prodan Encapsulated Within the Nanocavities of Cyclodextrins and Cucurbiturils.  Alison is attending UC Davis this coming fall, studying Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.

Jonathan Litz:  A Concise, Biomimetic Total Synthesis of(+)-Davanone.  Jonathan will attend The Scripps Research Institute this coming fall, and will spend the summer as an intern at Hughes Research Lab in Malibu.

Ken Huaijin Loh:  Towards a Biomimetic Synthesis of the Endiandric Acids Using Organotrifluroborates.  Ken will be attending MIT this coming fall.

Trevor McQueen:  Building a Solar Simulator:  The Quest for an Inexpensive, Reliable Solar Simulator.  Trevor is on his way to Stanford this fall.

Taylor Neiman:  Spontaneous 2-D Nanostructures Formed from Binary Mixtures of Diblock and Triblock Copolymers.  Taylor plans to work, perferably, in the legal field.  He will take his LSATs and apply to law school.

Rachel Nishimura:  Towards a Biomimetic Synthesis of the Endiandric Acids Using MIDA Protected Boronates.  Rachel is seeking employment in chemistry research and is mostly looking at Pharmaceutical companies in Boston or the San Diego area.

Ryan Pakula:  Creation of a General Scheme for Low PKa Zinc Porphyrin Dye Synthesis.  Ryan will be traveling abroad and begin graduate school in the fall of 2010 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Steven Pankratz:  ZnO Nanorods as a Template for DSSCs and pKa Sensitivity

Aurora Pribram-Jones:  Binary Liquid mixtures and Bulk Chirality:  Two New Explorations of the 2, 7-Diacyl Fluorenes.  Aurora will attend UC Irvine to work in the Kieron Burke lab.

Glennis Rayermann:  Novel Osmium Porphyrin Cofacial Dimers:  Towards an Understanding of Metal-Metal Coupling.  Glennis will be attending the University of Washington.

Joanne Redford:  Synthesis of a Tethered Ligand for the Asymmetric Hydroamination of Aminoallenes.  Joanne has been accepted at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Oksana Sergeeva:  End Binding Protein 1 in Tetrahymena thermophila.  Oksana will be at MIT this fall.

Christina Snyder:  Exploring the DNA-Protein Interactions of the Catalyic Domain of Human APOBEC3G.  Christina is joining the work force.

Diana Tran:  Characterization of an Ultra-conserved Module at the Telomerase Promoter.  Diana is now in the graduate program at the City of Hope.

Seanna Vine:  Advanced Hemostatic Agent Delivery Device.  Seanna has joined the work force.

Maggie Weber:  Arsenic Water Treatment in Cambodia.  Maggie was accepted into the Ph.D. programat University of Texas, Austin.

Terence Wong:  Characterization of Putative CTCF Binding Sites in the Proximal Exonic Region of the hTERT Gene.  Terence will attending graduate school after some time in the work force.
