Whitney Duim ’05 received a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to study at the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College) and was also awarded an NFS Graduate Research Fellowship at Stanford.
Erin Moore McDonnell ’02 finished her degree at Berkeley. She took a position as an on-site Bruker Rep at Amgen.
Eve and Nathaniel Brown ’99 announced the birth of their son, Trevor (01/21/06).
Jeff Johannes ’99 defended his thesis in May ’05 in time to have participated in the commencement exercises a Harvard. His goal was to finish the total synthesis of gymnadimine, and he did just that. He reports that he was happy and relieved to have accomplished this goal.
Felice Lu '99 celebrated the publication of her graduate research. She said that of all the events surrounding the completion of her thesis, the publication was certainly the most tangible and the most satisfying.
