SPRING 2012 PRE-REGISTRATION
Class of 2015
Thursday, November 17, 2011
8:15am-11:45am and 1:15m-4:45pm
First-year students will pre-register on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Your pre-registration day and time is listed on your yellow pre-registration card.
You can complete your pre-registration via Web-Reg, starting on the date and time indicated on your pre-registration card or at any college workday time thereafter until 5 p.m. on the 10th day of spring classes, January 30, 2012.
You will already be registered into first-year core classes and one elective, if you so requested before the pre-registration period. You are asked to notify the Registrar immediately if you have been pre-registered in an incorrect class, if a required first year class is missing on your schedule, or if you no longer want the elective that you selected during early pre-registration. Other changes and additions to your class schedule can be made starting at your pre-registration appointment time.
To complete your Spring 2012 pre-registration, you need to list your classes on your yellow pre-registration card and have the card approved by your First-Year and Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (HSA) advisers. Your First-year adviser approves your core classes and your Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (HSA) adviser approves your Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (HSA) classes. Alternate classes must also be approved by the appropriate adviser. Please fill in your card legibly.
The name of your HSA adviser is listed on your pre-reg card and your class schedule.
Include on your card all of the classes the Registrar's Office has already placed you in and your chosen elective(s). It is recommended that you list a few approved alternate classes on your pre-registration card in case elective classes have closed. It is at this time that you will pre-register for your required first-year PE class, if you are not completing one this fall semester. You must also pre-register for at least one 3-unit HSA class at this time. This HSA course may be taken at any of the 5-C colleges.
A number of tips for a stress free pre-registration are available to assist you in the process.
Special Permission Required
If written permission is required, there is space for it on your pre-registration card or you may bring your signed Class Permission form (PDF) to your pre-registration appointment. If there is a time conflict with any courses, bring your completed Class Conflict Approval form (PDF) to your pre-registration appointment.
