Spring 2013 Web-Registration
Class of 2016
Friday, November 30, 2012
8:15 a.m. (24 hour web-registration appointment window)
First-year students will web-register on Friday November 30, 2012. Your web-registration day and time is listed on your web-registration card
You can complete your web-registration via your Student Portal, starting on the date and time indicated on your web-registration card, during open enrollment registration or at the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on the 10th day of spring classes, February 4, 2013.
To complete your Spring 2013 web-registration, you need to list your classes on your web-registration card and have the card approved by your First-Year adviser. Your First-year adviser approves all of your courses. Please fill in your card legibly.
Include, on your card all of the classes you have been approved to take. It is recommended that you list a few approved alternate classes on your web-registration card in case elective classes have closed. Be sure to register for your required first-year PE class, if you are not completing one this fall semester. You should also web-register for at least one 3-unit HSA course. The HSA course may be taken at any of the 5-C colleges.
A number of tips for a stress free web-registration are available to assist you in the process.
Courses requiring PERMission
If instructor approval is required, utilize the PERMission feature on your Student Portal to be permitted to enroll. If the instructor approves, you will recieve a generated PERMission reply. This will allow you to enroll in the course during your web-registration time, during open enrollment up to the last day to add classes. Please note that a PERMission will not automatically enroll you in a course. You will need to enroll yourself in the course once the approved PERMission is recieved.
If there is a time conflict with any courses, web-register for one course and then bring your completed Class Conflict Approval form (PDF) to the Office of the Registrar for over-the-counter processing.
