Students must register on their own campus for courses open to them in the other Claremont Colleges. Some off-campus courses require portal permission. All full semester courses on the other campuses receive 3 units of credit (except science courses for which a three-hour lab per week is indicated in the catalog—these receive 4 units). Half semester courses receive 1.5 units of credit except music performance classes, which receive 1 unit of credit. Starting with the Fall 2010 semester, all HMC students will receive one unit of credit for a PE class, with the maximum not to exceed three units total while attending HMC.  When three units of PE have been earned, subsequent PE courses will be taken with zero units of credit.
