• Black History Question of the Day - Questions on Black History, designed by Dean Gary Kelly, were sent by email everyday. The first three students with the correct answer received a prize.

• A Walk Through Black History - Beginning on Feb 1, posters highlighting a different achievement in Black History (a famous "first", an inventor, a portrait of courage, etc.) were posted along the walkway between the L.A.C. and Platt.  At the end of the month, an awesome visual of the contributions of black Americans to this country lined our inner quad.

• NSBE Personal History Exhibit - The students of NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) put together an exhibit of their own personal histories to be on display.  Their idea highlighted their personal journeys to and experiences in the U.S.
