What is the HMC Employment Portal?
The HMC Employment Portal is the gateway for faculty, staff and managers to access payroll, employment and benefits information through the Ultipro payroll system and for staff and managers to access the Workforce EmpCenter time and attendance system.  The payroll system has a self-service feature that gives faculty and staff access to view their personal employment information and to change select information such as state and federal withholdings, start/stop direct deposit, and update home addresses and phone numbers.  In the near future, new faculty and staff will be able to enter new-hire information and make changes to benefits during open enrollment online through the Portal.

How do I access the HMC Employment Portal?
To access the HMC Employment Portal, you need to activate your account (instructions on how to activate your account are listed above).  Once activated, you will be able to access the Portal using your HMC Credentials (the User ID and Password you use to access Charlie or Alice).  Visit the following Computing and information Services' site for information about HMC Credentials: http://www.hmc.edu/about1/administrativeoffices/cis1/docs1/hmccredentials.html

What can I do now in The Employment Portal?
The Ultipro payroll system has been in operation since January 1, 2012.  You can view your personal employment data and make changes to certain personal information.  If you are a manager, you will be able to see information about staff who report directly to you.

We are waiting for leave balances to be exported to Workforce EmpCenter and for a few additional adjustments before staff start begin using it for time and attendance.  Screens may be viewed but should not be used to record work hours or use of paid leave.  In the meantime, staff and managers should continue to use ADP eTime.
