Dean Q ("DQ") joined Harvey Mudd College in January 2013 as associate dean of student health and wellness.

He has more than a decade of experience working with college students as professor, therapist/counselor and researcher. His mission is to lead the efforts to increase student wellness on campus by engaging in relevant applied research/programming to address wellness needs.

Dean Q also provides psycho-education for students, faculty, and staff on various wellness topics. In addition, he offers group and one-on-one support, wellness coaching, and triage/referral services to Monsour Counseling Center (as needed for therapy/counseling).
