Angelica Ibarra

mailto:Angelica_Ibarra@hmc.eduAngelica Ibarra joined the Dean of Students team in January 2006. As assistant to the dean of students, she assisted students with a wide array of needs, from commencement caps and gowns to transportation for student activities.

In March of 2008, Angelica transferred to the Office of Institutional Diversity as Program Coordinator, where she is responsible for diversity outreach programs for the entire HMC community. Through her efforts, the college recently celebrated Women’s History Month for the first time in its history. Angelica also coordinates programs for Black History Month, Cinco de Mayo, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, among other celebrations. In addition, she contributes to the Multicultural Ally Program, which serves to raise awareness of cultural differences and to promote the value of difference among people at HMC.

Prior to Mudd, Angelica worked at the California Institute of Technology for 12 years. She handled the purchasing of insignia merchandise in Caltech’s bookstore, and later worked as a senior administrative assistant in its registrar’s office.
