The Office of Communications and Marketing advances the College's mission and strategic vision through the design, development and implementation of strategic communications that inform, educate and gain support for HMC.
The unit encompasses public relations, marketing, publications, web design, development and content management, social networking and other visual media. The department's communication professionals work collaboratively with the College to build HMC’s brand at the local, national and international levels, maintain communication with all campus constituencies and facilitate crisis communication. The office serves as the primary contact for College administrators, staff and faculty with questions about institutional communications, marketing and public relations.

The Communications and Marketing office serves, supports and promotes the mission of Harvey Mudd College through the development and dissemination of information about HMC people, programs and achievements to the public, alumni, the campus and friends of the College. We ensure that publications meet the College's established standards in language and design, consistent with the quality and image Harvey Mudd College wishes to project. We provide a host of creative services to a range of on-campus constituencies.
