CIS provides two printers for ease of access to print 'on the go'.  These printers are named Rover and Clifford.  Their connection names and model information are as follows:

The following are the preferred methods of printing to the public CIS-operated printers:

Windows

1. Open the Start Menu and go to Printers and Faxes.
2. Choose File, then Add Printer from the menu.
3. Choose "A network printer, or a printer connected to another computer" in the wizard and press Next.
4. Select the 2nd option, "Connect to this printer...". In the box, fill in \\charlie.ac.hmc.edu\ followed by the printer name (e.g. \\charlie.ac.hmc.edu\Odie for the Parsons PC Lab printer). Then press Next.
5. Choose whether or not you want the printer to be your default printer, then press Next.
6. Press Finish.

Mac

1. Go to the Apple menu, then select System Preferences (or launch System Preferences from the dock/Applications folder).
2. Select the Print & Fax item.
3. Underneath the list of printers on the left side, press the + button.
4. Select the IP tab.
5. Enter the address of the printer in the appropriate box (e.g. odie.ac.hmc.edu).
6. Select the model of the printer if necessary (OS X will attempt to determine this on its own first).
7. Press Add.
