Configuring Outlook for use with Office 365

1. Click the "Start" button, then select "Control Panel"

2. Navigate to "Mail" by one of five ways depending on the version of Windows and Control Panel viewing preferences:

1. for Windows 7 with Control Panel in category view, click "User Accounts and Family Safety" and select "Mail".

2. for Windows 7 with Control Panel in icon view, select "Mail".

3. for Windows XP with Control Panel in category view, click "User Accounts", then select "Mail".

4. for Windows XP with Control Panel in classic view, select "Mail".

5. for 64-bit versions of Windows, click "Additional Options", select "View 32-bit Control Panel Items", then select "Mail".

3. Click "E-mail Accounts..." in the Mail Setup dialog box.

4. Select "New..." to add a new e-mail account to Outlook.

5. Enter your name in the "Your Name:" field, your email address (@hmc.edu) in the "E-mail Address" field, your password in the "Password" and "Retype Password" fields, and click "Next".

6. Once auto account configuration is completed, click "Finish"
