note: These directions and screenshots were created with an iPad (3rd generation) but the process is the same for all iOS devices.
1. From the home screen, select "Settings".

2. Once in the settings menu, select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
3. Select "Add Acount..." to add a mail account.

4. Select "Microsoft Exchange".

5. Enter your email address (<username>@hmc.edu) in the "Email" and "Username" fields, your password in the "Password" field, and if applicable, the "Server" field should be filled with "pod51009.outlook.com". Push "Next".

6. On the next screen, select whether mail, contacts, calendars, and reminders are synced, then push "Save".
