CIS provides email services for students, faculty, and staff of Harvey Mudd College, with optional forwarding to a non-HMC address.

For checking local email, the current services provided are  Microsoft Office 365, and Google Apps for Education. Other email clients may also configured to retrieve email from an HMC account via the IMAP protocol.

If you wish to forward your email to a non-HMC account, you will need to set up a forwarding address.

By default, all HMC email accounts are safeguarded by the Postini spam filtering system. 

Mailing list services are available via the listkeeper daemon.
