Class lists are also very important. Students officially registered for any course are automatically included in the list, provided you are in the registrar’s system when the course’s mailing list is set up. For example, if you are registered for colloquium, it is your responsibility to read any email messages from the colloquium list. The department uses this list to notify you of important colloquia changes and operates under the assumption that all registered students are attending to these notices.

- CS 81, Computability and Logic, will be offered at Pomona by Professor Everett Bull on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:15 pm
- You are responsible for making sure that you are on the CS email list for your year!!!
To check if you are on the appropriate list, send e-mail to listkeeper@hmc.edu with the following line of text in the e-mail: who cs-majors-<foo>-l@hmc.edu where <foo> is your graduating year (a two-digit number – e.g., 09).
The same list is used for both CS and Math/CS Joint Majors. The department uses these lists to notify you about important policy changes and operates under the assumption that all CS and CS/Math majors are reading and acting on these notices. When you become a CS or CS/Math major, it is your responsibility to sign up on the list for your year if you are not already on the list.
