Chef for a Day

As a Dining Services Chef for a Day, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside Executive Chef Ruben Vega. You will help plan, prepare and cook one of you own favorite recipes, which will be served in Hoch-Shanahan as part of the dinner menu that evening.

You will be directly involved in the planning and food preparation, and will learn basic skills like knife handling, sanitation and presentation. The Chef for a day will also receive a genuine chef coat and hat to remember the occasion.
