Dining Services

Woman dressed in fiesta dress in the dining commonsWith the newest dining facility among The Claremont Colleges, HMC’s Dining Services offers a wide variety of foods and services to more than 1,600 diners each day.

Completed in 2005, its state-of-the-art Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons features open exhibition kitchen areas, seating for nearly 500, five private dining rooms and outside patio areas.

For those looking to just hang out and grab a quick snack, Dining Services offers Jay’s Place. Since its dedication in March 2005, this late-night lounge has fast become the place to meet at Harvey Mudd College. With pizza, sandwiches, pool tables, snacks, music and movies, Jay’s Place is the place to be.

And when it’s time to break from classes, work or other activities, Dining Services invites the community to the Hixon Court Coffee Cart, situated next to the college’s beautiful koi pond and Venus Fountain.
