The Office of Advancement Services at Harvey Mudd College works to provide necessary services and support in connection with the college’s comprehensive fund raising and relations programs, including prospect research, donor relations and stewardship, gift processing and special events.

The office also supports the fundraising efforts and goals of the college by receiving, recording and receipting charitable contributions made to HMC in a timely and accurate manner according to donor intent, while adhering to the college’s mission, the IRS rules and nonprofit charitable gift guidelines (FASB and CASE).

In addition, Advancement Services follows all institutional policies governing the collection, use, maintenance and dissemination of information in the pursuit of the mission, and facilitates and formulates supportive management reports for the Office of College Advancement and other functional areas within Harvey Mudd College.
