Heath Elliott

Heath ElliottHeath Elliott, one of two senior directors for college advancement, plays a leading role in taking the Office of College Advancement and its programs of fundraising and communication to the next level in their support of HMC. Currently, he oversees HMC's major gifts program, annual giving and external relations, while directing multiple units and staff members within Advancement.

Heath came to HMC in 2007 from Pomona College, where he served for 10 years in several fundraising roles. He is a regularly sought-after presenter for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) on institutional strategic messaging, partnership building with faculty and college leaders, and young alumni and student-oriented fundraising programs.

Heath holds a master's degree in business administration from the Drucker-Ito School of Management at the Claremont Graduate University, a Masters of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina at Columbia and a bachelor's degree in history from Centenary College in Louisiana.

Since his arrival at HMC, Heath has served as Director of Principal Gifts, the college’s lead front-line fundraiser and been actively working with trustees and top donors, as well as leading multiple strategic planning efforts within the Office of College Advancement, to advance leadership giving and preparedness for a future campaign.
