Parents Wine Tasting   |   Family Weekend 2009   |  Commencement 

The 2nd Annual HMC Parent Wine Tasting Event took place on Sunday, November 2, 2008 and a wonderful time was had by all who attended.  Host and proprietor of La Honda Winery in Redwood City, CA (www.lahondawinery.com) Ken Wornick P11 captivated the crowd with his informative and amusing presentation on the Art of Wine Making and guided parents as they tasted and critiqued four different wines, each produced at La Honda Winery.  Following the wine tasting, Mike von der Porten '78, P07 of Kendall-Jackson Winery took the floor for an educational and engaging over-view on the six ways to sell wine. 

Family Weekend 2009 is February 13 ~ 14, 2009!
Family Weekend 2009 promises to be a fun-filled, 2-day event designed to provide you with opportunities to not only re-connect with your Mudder but to meet and get acquainted with other Mudd parents.  Some of the planned activities include informative sessions presented by the Office of Career Services, Study Abroad, and Financial Aid, department tours, President Maria Klawe’s State of the College address, and much, much more!  Don’t miss this weekend!  For additional information, e-mail parents@hmc.edu and check our website frequently for updates (http://www.hmc.edu/parents).
