Alumni Weekend 2008

Alumni Weekend is your time to reconnect with fellow alumni, get acquainted with students and faculty, and visit what’s new on campus. Once you arrive, the years since graduation day will just melt away. The weekend offers plenty of events in which to get involved and celebrate.

Alumni Weekend Schedule

Alumni Weekend 2007  Alumni Weekend 2007  Alumni Weekend 2007

Friday events include music, movies, a Shakespeare play, food and wine, a dance concert and more food. Alumni College will take you back to the classroom to focus on several aspects of Photography featuring our 2008 Outstanding Alumni recipients Michael Wilson '63 and Kim Vandiver '68, ending with a student art show and reception with the Humanities and Social Science Department. You’ll enjoy the same intimate classroom experience that Mudd is known for and have alumni, faculty and students as your teachers. Slide rules, composition notebooks and Pee-Chee folders are optional.

Don your comfortable shoes for Saturday when a multitude of tours, covering nearly every part of campus, will be offered. Again this year we will have a kids corner with K’nex kits to assemble.  Take a break to hear the latest college news from President Maria M. Klawe then head out again for some more amazing activities, including the annual Faculty/Alumni Barbecue Lunch, Mathemagics by Prof. Art Benjamin and HMCAA Awards Ceremony where awards for Outstanding Alumni, Honorary Alumni, Order of the Wart and the Lifetime Recognition Award will be presented. The day culminates in a reception, class pictures and reunion dinners for those in classes ending in “3” or “8” and for anyone else who wants to join in. The Alumni Office will even help you plan a reunion dinner of your own!
