HMC
Alumni Giving

Come. Celebrate. Contribute.

What is Reunion Giving?

In honor of their reunion, many alumni choose to either make a first time gift or increase their yearly support of HMC by making a contribution to the Annual Fund.  Like all gifts made to the Annual Fund, your reunion contribution supports the college’s top budgetary priorities to: provide scholarship assistance for deserving students, recruit and retain incredibly talented and dedicated faculty, maintain and upgrade labs and classrooms used nearly 24 hours a day, and funding for other educational opportunities and new strategic initiatives on campus.  To learn more about where the money goes, click here.

Why Does Alumni Participation Matter?
We all have different financial priorities to consider and limited resources to pull from.  But every year when you make a gift to HMC, you join thousands of others to help build a strong support system for the college.  This support system is made up of students, alumni, parents and friends who all believe in and understand the importance of HMC’s educational mission and vision.

Specifically, when you make a gift, no matter the size, you increase the overall alumni participation rate for HMC. The total number of contributions made by alumni each year not only reflect school pride and institutional strength to the surrounding community, but are actually one of the criteria used by outside funding sources such as corporations and foundations when deciding to award HMC grant money.

By showing your commitment to the value of a Harvey Mudd College education, you will inspire others to the same. Your gift does count. Challenge your classmates to join you this year and increase your own class’s participation!
