During the first semester at HMC, all first-year students will be enrolled in a Humanities 1 course focused on reading, writing and critical thinking skills. Each student must complete the Humanities Form (PDF), indicating his or her preferences, and return it to the Dean the of Students Office by July 10.  For more information about the Humanities 1 course, please take some time to read the Welcome Letter from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.
